Celebrating the global month of Breast Cancer Awareness
The Breast Cancer Foundation of Egypt (BCFE) under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaalan, organized reception and press conference under the slogan "Egypt in Pink" at 8 pm- 11pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the sound and light theater at pyramids of Giza.
Egypt in Pink was to celebrate the global month of Breast Cancer Awareness and to spread the message to the world about Egypt state's leadership role in supporting the humanitarian issues such as breast cancer. This had teamed up efforts to draw the world's attention by lighting the most important cultural and historical landmarks, in Egypt in pink such as the pyramids of Giza, Citadel of Salah Ed-Din and Cairo Opera House.
The press conference was honored to has Mr. Alaa El-Shahat chairman of the Central Administration of the Antiquities of Cairo and Giza on behalf of the Minister of Antiquities, Dr. Khalid al-Anani, Who stated during his speech about the importance of launching Egypt in Pink from inside the archaeological areas as a message to support of the world's women who fight the cancer and as a symbol of steadfastness and perseverance that you need treatment journey.
The press conference was presented by Names Arnos in the presence of a group of celebrates such as Rania Yousef, Tamer Hagras, Ahmed Salama, Mona Jalal, Salwa Mohamed Ali and Ihsan Saleh and fashion designer Mohammad Sami and a range of Egypt’s beauty queens 2016, as well as a group of media and public figures, including the engineer Majid Sharif, managing director of Sodic.
