Participants at the annual conference of breast cancer organized by the Alexandria Regional Center for Health and Development of Women launched "the Arab Union for fighting breast cancer ", under the umbrella of the Arab League, including number of associations and health centers interested in this field in the Arab world.

Union members are, the Breast Center Foundation of Egypt ,Alexandria Regional Center For Women Health and Development, Saudi Cancer Foundation,Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation, Jordan Anti Cancer Association, Sudanese Cancer Foundation, The Egyptian Association for breast cancer.

The Union aims to raise awareness of breast cancer, and help women to know about the importance of the early detection and how it affects on cure rate.
