The Breast Cancer Foundation of Egypt, headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaalan, Professor of Oncology Surgery and Head of the Breast Surgery Department at the National Cancer Institute, led a workshop rich in information and discussions in cooperation with the #Arab_Bank, where nearly 500 female employees attended from all branches, including 25 attendees and the rest online. Dr. Muhammad Shaalan answered many of the questions raised by the participants regarding breast cancer. Dr. Muhammad corrected the misconceptions about the disease that spread in society, and also stressed the need to empower women with knowledge about the disease from risk factors, methods of discovery and treatment methods, which makes them fully aware of breast cancer. At the end of the workshop, the Bank honored Dr. Muhammad Shaalan for his efforts in raising women's breast cancer awareness.
