The Breast Cancer Foundation of Egypt in collaboration with Susan G. Komen, International NGO, launched Breast Health Education Expansion Program in Upper Egypt in order to empower the Egyptian women with breast health information and early detection skills, Mohamed Shaalan, BCFE chairperson, Said "The program will cover Fayoum, Assuit El-Minia and Bani Swuif as a first phase.
Moreover, the program targets to train female community leaders on breast health education to raise awareness among their communities about breast cancer. Also, the program will provide women in such governorates including cities and villages breast medical and mammogram examination for free and breast health awareness lectures as well".
